The Barunga Festival was a major hit during the Queen’s birthday long weekend which kicked of June 7th-10th 2013. There were loads of sports, culture and music & plenty of things to do that would cater to everybody’s needs, a disco for the kids, spear throwing competitions, Damper making, bush tucker and plenty of culture. There were outstanding performances from indigenous artists from around the Northern Territory throughout the evenings of the festival. Bringing to the stage there was familiar artists like Gurrumul, B2M, Ali Mills, Tom E Lewis and many more. The TEABBA crew had the opportunity to do a live broadcast throughout the festival and capture some amazing talent.
