Barunga Festival 2016

The Barunga Festival 2016 within its 31st year, was a great event over the Queens birthday long weekend. Bernard Namok Jnr (Bala B), Brendon Barlow and Jason Tambling along with TEABBA’s Board members Malcolm Wilson, Jedda Purantatameri and Gilbert Walkuli and RIB’s operator Delma McCartney attended the event for a live broadcast and for the first time in TEABBA history, our board members lead the broadcast while the TEABBA crew stood back and supervised. A string of indigenous artist’s such as B2M, Lonely boys, poison whiskey, Gurrumul , Wildflower, Mambali band and many more made it a night to remember with song and dance to warm the hearts on such a cold night. Another successful year for the TEABBA crew at Barunga for the festival, will definitely be looking forward to the event next year.   TEABBA Radio your voice in the bush
