Training

TEABBA has Indigenous staff (male and female if traditional protocol is highlighted) who all hold multiple certificates and industry qualifications within screen and media, including valid NT Ochre Cards for working with children. TEABBA TAE trainers are experienced in working with all age groups including senior citizens, adults, young school leavers and students. TEABBA can assist with your project or obligations to deliver training on site, and in remote areas across the Top End of Australia. TEABBA understands remote community life, therefore flexible to adapt to ensure the training workshop objectives are successful.

TEABBA has successfully provided many training workshops across the Top End remote communities, and RIBS Radio Regional Workshops in Darwin. These regional workshops are in collaboration with the Northern Territory Regional Councils. TEABBA has also been requested to provide numerous basic introduction multi-media workshops to various remote and urban schools.

Student work placements and/or work experience are also a part of the TEABBA vision, to assist and encourage the next generation of Indigenous and non–Indigenous youth to consider the media industry as a possible career path. Many school based industry tours are welcomed to come through TEABBA each year. Understanding the importance of training and positive guidance, TEABBA can also recommend other suitable training providers or RTO’s for advanced development that could assist with your particular enquiries.
