Borroloola is located on the eastern coast of the Northern Territory on the Gulf of Carpentaria. Situated on the banks of the McArthur River, Borroloola is 670 kilometres east south east of Katherine.
One of the main attraction to Barroloola is fishing, visitors can participate in fishing tours or do it on their own.
The Old police station , built in 1866, operates as a museum with a collection of historical artifacts, documents and photographs outlining the history of the region.
