TEABBA broadcasts regular programming daily from both the Darwin studio and community RIBS stations using IP audio distribution over a Codec Tieline. This enables broadcasters in remote locations, from their RIBS, to broadcast over the network & TEABBA’s footprint engaging in a larger audience.
Note: All other generated income is put back into the Organisation.
Radio Broadcasting
TEABBA broadcasts 24/7 into 29 remote Indigenous communities across the Top End, with regular programing content from both the Darwin studio and various community RIBS (Remote Indigenous Broadcasting Service).
TEABBA promotes the development of local broadcasting so that local First Nations people can gain access to information important to their community and for the maintenance of culture and language.
TEABBA has the capability to do Outside Broadcasting wherever there is NextG reception. TEABBA has broadcasted live from many important community events.
